How do I use my Foxglove Wraps?
Using the warmth of your hands, hold the wrap for a few seconds to make it pliable. Wrap it around around a piece of food (like a gift!), or over the top of a bowl or casserole dish. When the wrap cools (within seconds) it conforms to the shape and holds its seal. Use your Foxglove to seal & wrap sandwiches, cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit, fresh herbs, and baking.
Can I select the fabric for my Foxglove Wrap?
We use many colours, styles and patterns for our wraps. If you would a particular pattern of material, please ask, but it may depend on what stock we have at any one time or what we can source. We may do special requests, but usually only in bulk.
If you order online, please feel free to contact us and specify what types of themed fabrics you are interested in, but unfortunately we may not be able to guarantee your selection.
With packs, they are usually pre-made with a set of different themed materials, but we are happy if people mix and match from the individual wraps to make up a pack with sizes and patterns they like.
“For fundraisers, we can only take bulk orders and usually ask people the ‘themes’ they are most interested in, with choices (on the order form) and do our best to accommodate selections. If for some reason you are really not happy with a pattern you have received, we will usually swap for something that you are happy with. Contact your fundraising coordinator, or us directly.” thanks, Kim

Individual wraps, or wraps for specific fundraising campaigns that have requested personalisation may be packaged differently.
What foods should I not wrap with my Foxglove Wraps?
Use them to wrap or cover just about anything except raw meat and pineapple. There is a harsh enzyme in pineapple called bromelain that degrades the wax, and raw meat is no-go as you can’t wash them in really hot water so bacteria may remain.

Your wraps should last 6 – 12 months if you are regularly using them and looking after them as above.
Can I improve the stickness of my wrap?
If your foxglove wrap appears to be losing its stickiness or no longer folds nicely, pop it on an oil-lined tray in the oven for about 5–8 minutes at about 100 degrees Celsius to redistribute the wax a little.
Do Foxglove Wraps smell or taint my food?
Given the nature of beeswax, you may find initially that some food takes on a ‘honey’ flavour. This is in no way harmful and will diminish with use. Most people find they quite like the scent, but there are a few people who are more sensitive to beeswax and do not prefer it.
